Jennifer Metcalfe

Jennifer Joanne Metcalfe is an English actress. She joined the cast of soap opera Hollyoaks in June 2006, playing Mercedes McQueen Metcalfe plays Mercedes until today despite taking a fourmonth break from November 2014 until February 2015 when her character was killed off but was later revealed to be still alive. Metcalfe has also made appearances in the spin off show Hollyoaks Later between 20082012. Metcalfe is also known for playing Jade Nicolls in ITV Soap Emmerdale and for being third elimated in the sixth series of ITV Competition Dancing On Ice

Metcalfe was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire and grew up on the Holme Wood housing estate, and has been acting since age 12. She attended the Scala Kids drama school in her hometown. Metcalfe obtained a degree in Health and Fitness before starting her acting career.
